CHRISTOPHER AMES
Since 1991, Christopher Ames has been cutting through the issues that can divide and distract us. Whether we come as a prodigal, a seeker, or with the faith of a child the music of Christopher Ames will call us to consider the love of God through Jesus Christ.
In his songwriting, Christopher tries to blend the raw sounds of an acoustic guitar with honest lyrics born of a life filled with both thorns and grace. "Every life holds places of brokenness and mine is no different. But in the grace of Jesus, we are loved... and our wounds are being tended."
Christopher is a multi award winning artist, most recently brtinging home the Acoustic Rock Artist of the Year from the 2008 Kansas City Christian Music Awards. He also just released his 5th CD called EVERYDAY WITH YOU, a concept record chronicling the journey of life and love in marriage. Christopher Ames has an endorsement partnership with BREEDLOVE Guitars.
HEATHER JAMES
Heather refers to her unique ministry as "Standing the Stones," in reference to the stories of Jacob in Genesis chapters 28 & 31. Jacob stands stones to remember a life changing moment in God's presence, and a covenant made with Laban to no longer harm one another.
With many years of worship leading experience and a call to passionately proclaim God's Word, Rev. Heather James is available to your community ~ to assist you in creating space for sacred moments through worship and community life.
Rev. Heather James is an ordained pastor in the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.). She is deeply committed to seeing people from all denominations worshipping and serving together.
SKIP CLARKE
Skip Clarke believes that God speaks to each of us, and that every so often we listen. While he doesn't hear a voice from Heaven that tells him what decisions to make, he does see and hear God in situations in his life, in applying Scripture to life, and in putting together the small pieces to show the big picture of His Truth.
Skip enjoys articulating these puzzle pieces in dramatic readings and his original 'Dinner and a Movie' Bible Studies that combine artful cooking with relevant Bible study based on popular movies.
Skip and his wife don't have much time at all these days with three kids, two of whom are newborn twins!
